Midsouth 4th of July BBQ Entrée.

What can I say?!  In America, we LOVE to eat! While the smorgasbord of food on Thanksgiving is hard to beat, the feasts on Independence Day are not far behind. So if you’re on the hook to cook this year, you better have something that taste buds will appreciate. If not, here’s a quality 4th of July BBQ entrée worth considering:

What’s the Big Deal About BBQs?

I’m not one to shy away from food – especially when it comes to barbecued ribs. With all due respect to the vegan culture, it would be very difficult for me to go without BBQ food in general. Ribs happen to be my second child’s favorite meal and it’s definitely a popular option with the rest of the family.

We all enjoy hanging out or play around while the food is cooking during the holidays. The 4th of July is no different. The South is a lot different than life in Arizona. There are smokers and barbecues everywhere! I love it and can’t wait to try everything.

The Scoop on My Baby Back Rib Recipe.

If you’re looking for a go-to 4th of July BBQ entrée, these ribs would be a great choice. Although it takes a while to cook them, prep time is minimal! While I’d like to claim all the props for this recipe, I have to admit, watching my momma in the kitchen influenced me a little. Either way, I’ve learned to make these baby back ribs my own way over the years. So, I deserve a little credit.

No matter when I make them or where I take them, everybody loves them. It’s a 4th of July BBQ entrée that seems difficult to make but definitely a piece of cake. Choosing something that doesn’t take up a lot of your time allows you to spend more time with family and friends and less time in the kitchen!

Preparing the Fourth of July BBQ Entrée.

If I’m preparing an entire meal, I like to serve my barbecued ribs with salsa, potato salad, baked (or ranch style) beans, and some good ole corn on the cob. Come to think of it, I should do a blog about my potato salad recipe too! Be safe this year and make sure you take some time to enjoy all of the local 4th of July festivities!
